Hibs boss Pat Fenlon is ready to bolster the Irish contingent at Easter Road with a swoop for two of the League of Ireland's most promising players.
St Patrick's Athletic promising Chris Forrester and Shamrock Rovers central midfielder Ronan Finn are both believed to be targets for former Bohemians boss Fenlon who's looking to build on Hibs promising start to the season.
Forrester is aged just 19 and a winger with an eye for goal having scored 7 times in ten league appearances so far this season. He signed for St Pat's following Bohemians financial problems where he was taught by the current Hibs boss.
Finn is listed on the Shamrock Rovers website as a stylish and clever player who signed up for the Hoops at the beginning of the Irish 2012 season following his previous club, Sporting Fingal's demise, again through financial difficulties.
Both players are likely to command transfer fees as they are under contract to their current clubs.
Forrester, who is said to be interesting Sunderland after Martin O'Neil took in the recent FAI Cup Final between St Pat's and Derry City has also been linked with a move to Ipswich Town with recently appointed Mick McCarthy having previously taken the player on trial during his time at Wolves.
