Hibs On Loan Winger To Be Released

On loan Hibs winger Matt Done will depart Championship outfit Barnsley after the South Yorkshire outfit confirmed he will leave at the end of his contract.

The 24 year old, once the subject of a 500,000 bid from Crystal Palace, has largely failed to impress at Easter Road following his move north in January, scoring only once during the 4-2 Scottish Cup victory over Kilmarnock back in March.

Done has three SPL clashes plus a possible Cup Final appearance to impress any potential suitors for next season with Sunday's Edinburgh Derby and further SPL outings against Kilmarnock and Dundee still to play prior to the Scottish season concluding.

A permanent deal at Easter Road seems unlikely given the players limited impact with Done likely to head back to England to assess his options.
