Dempster arrived at Easter Road in June 2014 following a three year tenure as club CEO at Motherwell.

Chairman Rod Petrie had headhunted Dempster as his successor as CEO three months previously and the Glaswegian would probably have given second thoughts to making the switch when she realised the turmoil the club was actually in.

Upon her arrival, Hibs had just been relegated to the Scottish Championship with supporters openly revolting at Petrie, manager Terry Butcher and the players.

Her first act on being appointed saw her promise closer ties to the community and to create a better bond between club and fans.

Only a week into her reign she sacked the calamitous Butcher and his number 2 Maurice Malpas, ending their seven month reign which catapulted Hibs from a top six Premiership side to relegation fodder.

Having been linked with several managers, Dempster unveiled Alan Stubbs as the new Head Coach and she advised the backroom set up would be changing dramatically under her reign.

George Craig was appointed Head of Football Operations as Dempster aims to progress the Youth set up at the Hibernian Academy.

When Alan Stubbs departed the club following the Scottish Cup triumph in 2016, Dempster moved quickly to appoint Neil Lennon as his successor with the former Celtic boss becoming the highest paid manager in the club's history.

Dempster continues to build bridges with the local community taking the Scottish Cup on a tour of the Lothians and to those who would have been unable to see it in person due to illness.
